SUMMARY:Beekeeping II: Splitting Your Hive
DESCRIPTION:This second workshop on beekeeping will take place at the hives maintained by Meghan Millbrath, instructor, that are located within the Discovery Garden at the Leslie Science Center. The hives will be checked to see how they are doing, after which students will be shown how to make splits in the hive. Come dressed for the weather. In case of rain, class will be held on Sunday, May 5th, from 10am-noon.
